I really didn't have any problems with, creating my clay tablet or painting it. I am pretty happy of how it turned out, but if I could go back, I would make my plaster tablet coffee stained instead of painting it gold. I chose my words, because they describe me and my life, like, Ashley, Family, I Love You, and Soccer.
My Aboriginal Dot painting is a picture of my yard, which I painted. The circles within circles on the left side represent my garage, and the circles within circles in the middle of the page is my house. Do you see the three horseshoe shapes are my mom, my sister, and I? That shape represents a Person. The Blue stuff on the top of the page is my creek, it is in my backyard. The pointed thing by the one horseshoe shape is a gun, which represents that, that person is a hunter.
Well I am going to tell you a little bit about myself, well I have never moved and I have lived in Fenwick, MI for twelve years, ever since I was born. I have a twin sister, her name is Breanna, I was born first so it went A then B. My garage is huge it is a two stall garage and my house is one story and has three bedrooms.
This painting took me about three weeks to complete. I didn’t really have that many complications in this painting, one mistake was the corners on the paper kept curling up and it made it hard to paint on them four spots. It is a aboriginal dot painting of my yard, it wasn’t very hard to paint, But I had to get all the paint even and spread out. This was a very cool process, learning about how they did these paintings many years ago and actually trying to paint one of the paintings was very cool.
